This is exactly what I was writing about a couple weeks ago. I don't want 
to come off as "anti-Palm" because that would be a completely incorrect 
characterization of my views. But as a developer, if you compromise your 
own app, and compromise YOUR users' experience, because of some rule, 
whether it be arbitrary or completely rational, this is probably a 
mistake. Of course whether you ARE compromising your app is something 
only you and your users can judge. But if your software is hard to use, 
or doesn't seem "right" to the user, it seems to me unlikely that the 
user's response will be "well, I don't like the way it works, but after 
all, it's certified."

Needless to say, an order for 10,000 copies contingent on the app being 
certified would cause me to abandon my principles in one EvtGetEvent()...
