Damn straight.  This is why my vote is for texinfo.

* You can convert it into info files, which is more or less the GNU 
  equivalent of WinHelp, and is pretty much the native documentation
  format on Unix and Linux.
* You can convert it into HTML.
* You can convert it into PostScript or PDF and get a well formatted
  book that you wouldn't be ashamed to print out.
* You can even convert it into WinHelp.
