I used a two-monitor setup on my Win98 development machine (two 17"-ers). I
keep Acrobat Reader and POSE on the secondary monitor on the right, and MW
on the primary left monitor. Works out nicely. No, I'm not programming in
3D.

The only thing I don't like about PDF is that graphics seem to print up at
some awful 72dpi resolution, but that may have more to do with how the
documents are created and not with Acrobat itself.

If there is going to be any new format for documentation, I'd cast my vote
for XML. Then one can (with appropriate converters) generate whatever format
is handy: HTML, man, WinHelp, RTF, DOC, paper books, and whatever else is
around the corner. XML also allows much more powerful searching
possibilities. But for now, PDF is OK by me.
