Without kicking this e-mail entirely into the ground -- I'm thinking of
writing a palm programming book called:
"Palm Programming: For the superior minded individual, but clear and
concise enough for anyone"
Other possible titles:
"Palm Programming: In 10 minutes"
"Palm Programming: PRC What?"
"Palm Programming: And other intresting things to do in a 160x160 screen"

I guess it boils down to a difference in opinions and cultures. I know of
two
people who flat out turned down IDG and Macmillian (the "Idiots" think alike
label)
because of the series name. They had their books moved through different
publishers to titles that found more satisfactory.
