Yes, you (and Scott) are absolutely right. I was under the
impression that the 68(EZ)328 couldn't drive a colour display. I
wonder why then, the hardware on a Colour Device seems so different on
a chip level? I'm a bit of a hardware hacker and so find this
interesting. Is the chip on board the IIIc some kind of custom hacked
EZ CPU or is the display hardware all external and separate to the
CPU?
BTW, I figured out how to find out what CPU was onboard, just after
writing the message to whic you replied, but thanks anyway!
PS. Do you know of any sites which might offer more details on
programming either the VZ or the colour registers on the Palm IIIc?
