I'm an old Amiga freak so I have experienced the hard way what
happens when you hack the hardware and new chipsets and OS's come out!
:-)
Do Palm take requests for new versions of the OS? With the new
colour devices I think that we will see an increased emphasis on
multimedia style apps, and for these you need some more support from
the OS, if people are not to hack. ie. It would be *really* nice to
have some sort of page flipping routines and some FAST blit routines
in a new version of the OS!
Also feel free to put some funky blitting hardware in the next
colour device that you do. That stuff is fun. :-)
