Here's the problem with Symbol: When/if you are running any font
hacks which do not have a Symbol font of their own, or replace the Symbol
font with another font, you risk the potential that the password will be
once again, in the clear. Asterisks are much preferred in this case, or some
other form of punctuation (periods, pound signs, plus signs, etc.)
Just a thought.. Strip uses Symbol, and I was able to get around it
with FontHack. Yes, I could disable FontHack and make it work, but it's
still a potential security issue.
