Consider this. Normally password fields are echo'd back with some masking
character (* for instance) so one cannot peak over and easily see the
password. Since you are holding the device, this generally would not be the
case. Also, if you key in something wrong in Graffiti, how would you know if
the characters are masked?

In other words, why bother? Enter the password and be done with it. See the
Network panel under Prefs for a nice password example.
