Yeah, but what is unfortunate is that from CW 8.x on there is no backward
compatibility.
We don't trust too much in new releases of compilers. We thus keep our dr6
and dr7. Going back between the compilers was never a problem.
With dr8 that is no longer true. We know - there's even some stupid doc.
Here are my experiences:
- Opening a project file w/ dr8:
It converts it. No problem.
PROBLEM:
You now have a so-called xxx.old file. Keep it. By habit you are prone
to double-click the new .mcp file. Here is the gist:
On a Mac lauching a .mcp file might invoke the 4.1 IDE. You are trash!!!
Restart envy!
