  your not doing programming for a living.. *yet* :) as for the issues
  around releasing software, nag screens etc.. my paper is a very good
  resource for good/bad things..

  as for making money as a shareware developer? sure you can. :) people
  will buy anything.. especially crap software.. release enough titles
  and you'll be sure to get something :) soem developers out there dont
  release "quality" applications - and, it is a pity :(
