Thanks to all of you... I never like to delete code I've wrote, but in this case I will rip off the Lock/Unlock stuff and go with OffscreenWindow. But why haven't implement the licencees the Offscreen/copyRectangle stuff in the Lock/Unlock stuff instead of messing it up?
