        I lost a 1TB drive last month when it started having physical problems. 
I ran "Spinwrite" and it actually fixed it. It not only recovered the 
data but made the drive work again. While that drive is not my lead 
drive anymore it runs well enough to use as storage for less critical 
files. That is a seriously amazing program. Like "Ontrack File 
Recovery", which car recover files from a multiply formatted drive (yes 
I have been THAT dumb) , it may be expensive but when a drives dies it 
feels like the biggest bargain you ever got. Sometimes a group of users 
will purchase a copy for mutual use making it more affordable (despite 
violating the EULA)
