        Not at all. Anime fans are used to revisions (Look at the Tenchi 
universe and try to sort that mess out) and radical re envisioning of 
series and they embrace them because, unlike the Western fans, they 
understand it is all a story and not a factual history (for all the 
reality that is). There is a big difference in the mindset of the otaku 
and the fanboy. I will take the otaku any day. (besides we have way 
cooler toys and maid cafes, too)
