I don't think that's the case. Let me explain. When this list had to move, an informal poll was taken to see if the members wanted to stay with an email list format or move to a forum format. At the time I voiced "email" because I felt the same way you do and was not comfortable navigating the forum-style sites. Over the last year or so, I've become a fairly heavy user of the Zealot and Papermodelers forums. I've come to know many people there and feel they are "friends" - the same way I feel about the members of this group. It allows me to see and do things that can't be done here. >From a modeling standpoint, it's increased my ability and confidence to tackle >models I never would have, and many share interesting techniques that are >just, well, interesting, even if I'll never use them. The in-depth, on-line builds are fascinating, and I see comments from "senior" members as well as new folks all mixed together. I have since left the Zealot group. Not because of the members, but because of the owners. Not sure what you mean by "exclusivity" as it applies to the forums. If there's a particular segment you feel is not represented (or category), contact the administrators, I've seen them open up new categories because of members desire. I love this list, and never want to see it go away. And I love the Papermodelers.com forum.
