I was into papercraft before the WWW existed. I started designing
paper models, playsets, devices, and automata when I was around 5.
There were cut outs or punch outs in various publications. Good House
Keeping and its ads frequently offered papercraft. I came across a
couple of Jack and Jill Magazine or something similar. They were
paperback size with stories and a papercraft. I got a subscription to
WOW Magazine. I later subscribed to Dynamite Magazine. Dover
Publications also provided papercraft.

I don't know how I found http://www.ss42.com/toys.html , but this is
where my online addiction started.
