I just returned to the list after a long absence, so it's cool to be back here. Since I just got back, I haven't seen any messages, but I wanted to see if anyone had heard about the upcoming Ipod Shuffle, and if it could possibly be accessible.
I'm sure that the unit itself is pretty easy to use, but of course my concern is the ability to transfer files to it. I understand that because it's from Apple, they're of course including the Apple iTunes software, which by all accounts is not accessible with JAWS. I'm just wondering if anyone has developed any other software that may work in place of iTunes, and if so where it can be gotten ahold of and any other info? I'd really love to have one of these Ipod Shuffles, because the price is certainly something I can afford, but if it's not going to be easy to use, I'd rather wait for something better. I've heard about something called Rockbox for the Archos mp3 players, but I'm not sure if that would also work with the Apple Ipods. I would suspect not but I wanted to see if I could find out anything. Any info is most definitely appreciated! and once again if this has been discussed ad nausium on the list my apologies.
