Well on the note of speed, my PowerMac 4400 uses the 603ev processor at 200
Mhz, I upgraded that to a G3 320 Mhz 1mb cache from Met@box and run OS 9.1
with 160 meg of ram and I have no complaints for speed or about having just
what I need application wise open on my desktop.
As for the free software that comes with OS 9.1, Itunes, Outlook express,
Netscape and Internet Explorer are all on the OS 9.1 install disk with a few
others such as, if I remember correctly, Acrobat reader and stuffit expander
and real audio.
