Yep, it makes me laugh when I hear people shout about some of the
advantages of X. For those of us who have absolutely no interest in
programming, why should I even care if X provides a rapid development
environment? OK, so as a user, I should be pleased because I can enjoy the
fruits of other people's labor eh? Well wake up and smell the coffee, it's
four years since we were told by Apple that we would have an advanced OS,
and here we are, still waiting for it to be "done." It'll be a few years
before X is completely usable like Mac OS 9 is right now. And even then
some things will never be brought into X.
Well, here I go again, ranting and raving. I'd better stop now. :P
