I would have to agree with John, although I am sympathetic with Mac
users who are not happy with OS X. It's a complete change from the
way Mac users have been doing things. But there appears to not have
been a way to make the Mac OS have all the modern features that
Windows have had for quite some time. It will take at least a year to
resolve many of the issues. But I am sure many Mac users will not use
OS X, as there are users who still are pre-system 6, just as there
are those that still prefer DOS. But on the other hand, there
probably will be newcomers, perhaps from the Unix systems or other
systems and maybe even windows users if the software situation
improves; as Linux is still not a very viable alternative. OS X looks
much more promising than Linux.
