I would say a video card is an absolute must. The onboard video of the
8500 is pretty weak and slow.
I've seen the Rage Orion offered new on eBay. It's about the only place
you can get one of these cards new nowadays. Another option looks like the
upcoming Radeon VE card. I'm actually planning on getting one of these
when they are released in a couple of weeks to replace the Rage Orion I
have in my 8500. And yes, I will be selling my Orion.
