I'd buy a new G4. These are my reasons. Upgrading a 9500 is fine, but soon all
the software will be OS X compatible only. Some Software makers are already
dropping Classic development and concentrating all their efforts on OS X. Now
whether or not this will affect you immediately. I can't say. Maybe you are
the type of user that can stick with what you have for a long time. I use an
SE/30 from time to time, but not as my main Machine. My Main Machine is a
G4/733 and even I am looking at the 800 Dual with a lust. That coupled with
the peripherals that are currently available...there is no question in my mind
what you should. Buy new. This is coming from a guy who has one of every mac
ever made except for 3. Dump it and move on.

And now for an ignorant and scary quote...Jerry Falwell on the World Trade
Center attacks:
"The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be
mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we made god
mad. I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists
and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an
alternative lifestyle...the ACLU and People for the American Way..all of them
who tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say "you
helped this happen".
