I can understand the recommendations to buy new and if I had the $3,000.00, I
probably would. But I don't and therefore, I have to be content with this
7600/200 which is serving me well. Come to think of it, the Performa 200 in
the other room is also serving me well. With an obsolete word processing
program (Write Now 4.0) it is still cranking out documents without any
trouble. I don't think that it has ever frozen or crashed. If I hadn't wanted
color and the Web, I would have continued with it. I will probably never buy
a G4 nor OSX, that is, until I can pick them up in a thrift store for $10.00
