Actually, yes I just did. The problem is diminished, but not completely resolved (Apple Software Restore will load and partly copy the files, but the progress meter will still 'freeze'). All drives involved have been formatted with Apple's Drive Setup, and that works fine. I e-mailed tech support and they told me to update the firmware (which I did) and use the supplied cable (which didn't come with the computer--I bought it with the card already installed, but no IDE cables were included).
