Since you're using OS 9.1 did you format the drives with the DS version from OS
9.1, version 2.0.3? Otherwise update the HD driver with this version.

Think not, IDE cable is an IDE cable. Other things you can try:

Press the CUDA button;
Placing the card in another PCI slot;
Taking out RAM one by one to see if that helps.

Have you tried this 7600 w/o the card installed BTW?
