I've been using my Mavica FD-83 for over a year and half. The best software
I can recommend is "Camera Access" created by Flashpoint technology for
Apple's Quicktake 200 camera, which I once owned.

Camera Access is so VERY easy to use and fast. It does all the basic photo
manipulations like cropping, brightness/contrast, sharpen/soften,
lighten/darken, rotate, and zoom out/in effects. Unfortunately, it does not
have any color hue/saturation level controls.

And I still love it!
I find Graphic converter too complicated as compared to Camera Access. Where
Graphic Converter is Mac easy Camera Access is Mac easier!
Good Luck,
Ron
(Btw Camera Access works w/9.1, too!)
