Some DSL providers require that you log-in to their service using PPPoE. MacPoET requires at least Mac OS 7.6 to run. VicomSoft sells SurfDoubler, which is not only a PPPoE client but also an internet connection sharing software too. Then there's SoftRouter, which is more advanced than SurfDoubler. Lastly, there's EnterNet from NTS. Check out the Macintosh PPPoE Clients Page <http://homepage.mac.com/brockgs/>. Aside from PPPoE, how do other DSL services make their subscribers log in (aside from just giving them 24/7 IPs)? -------------------------------------- Gino LV.
