Yeah, you're right. I must be imagining it. The OS 9 Finder gets no advantage from multiple processors. I wonder if any of the software I run in Mac OS take advantage of dual processors.... Time for a little research.
Anyway, I'm mostly interested in their performance under BeOS and Linux... But I'm not quite up for Linux just yet - too many headaches and lots of other projects still to be finished.
