Well, Be was initially written for a host of - what were they called - Hobbit processors (same as in the Newton? but with more of 'em.) And IIRC you can turn individual processors on or off. Early versions, at least, would even let you turn off the final processor - of course, your system would hang then. <g> I don't know right off hand, but on an Intel (AMD) 380 mhz box, BeOS 5 runs pretty nicely. I just picked up a 7100 and a 7200 - the 7100 has no HD, so I'm picking one up, and picking up a used copy of BeOS 4.5 (last PPC version) to stick on there. It'll be fun to compare. <g> Oh, and to double check something - 7200 - has both the AAUI and 10bT ports on it? Or am I misreading the specs?
