My 7500 with a pair of Seagate 7200 rpm 9.1 GB internal drives has been
running for more than a year with no problems. A Rage Orion 128 is the only
PCI card installed. The processor is an XLR8 G3/466MHz/1GB. The lower drive
runs about 27-37 C and the processor is well within its temp limits. (I'm not
at the 7500 now so can quote a processor temp.)

I suggest installing a fan attached to the metal support next to the daughter
card.

See: <http://www.geocities.com/glenstrek/7500_fan.html> for all the details.
It seem to do the job for my set up. However, I do like Peter's suggestion
for a larger PS fan -- never thought of that.

Good luck --glen

I see that fans and such have been discussed here before. I want to ask
your advice though about where, or whether, to add one in the case to cool
the drive??. . . .>>
