Hello,
I finally decided to attempt to install OS X on my PowerMac 8500, which
now has OS 9.1. I inserted OS X disc. I clicked on the utilities icon and
then the startup disc icon. This allowed me to select "OS Install CD" and
restart. However, when the computer restarted the icon that showed on the
screen was split in two pieces and that was that. After waiting a minute I
restarted back in OS 9. Did I do something wrong or will my computer not
accept OS X?
