John, In order to get the CD to boot (if the "C" keu won't work), you will need to hold down the following keys: Command (apple key) + Option + Shift + Delete. Hold them all down right after to computer restarts. I have found the easiest way is to hold down the Command + Option + Shift with my left hand and Delete with my right.
On another note, if my memory serves correctly, System 7.5.2 was pretty unstable. The Apple website has 7.5.3 (more stable) available for free download and I believe that System 7.6.1 (even more stable) is there as well. If you don't have the bandwidth (or the patience) to download these, I have both that I can burn to CD. Contact me off list if that is the case. Take care, Aaron Oechsli --- John King <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > OS 8.5 doesn't seem to want to let me boot with 7.5 CDs. > I hold down the "C" key all the the way until my desktop > is done loading...nothing __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
