Hi; That goes to say that if a Mac calls for a minimum of OS 7.5.5, it will boot from a 7.5 CD, but if it calls for OS 7.6 or higher, it will "not" boot from a 7.5 CD. Then I am mostly correct on this issue? I tried it on my G3 and got a message that said "This is not a valid boot disk", or words to that effect. HTH --Thanks; Rev.
