Hi Nancy, I'm a fellow Canuck here in Seattle. You can pop a g-3 L2 upgrade chip in there, about $200 +/- on EBay. Also plug in a video board as several here have recommended to me to speed the redraws. Also, fill in the TV Slot with the FM/TV card, which will save a PCI slot and enable listening to radio or watching/capturing TV, remove thw ZIP from the upper bay and replace with a scsi drive. If you choose that as the start-up disk, boot is slower but operation is faster. Then you can run a zip 250 on the outside, or cd/rw. or both with what ever else you want in the out side scsi chain. Fill the comm II slot with the ethernet card and you've saved a pci slot again and enables the modem serial port. Run a 56k modem off the enabled serial modem port and you've saved the comm II slot for the ethernet card. r -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
