I would say pages load more smoothly and a bit faster with it than without. Even if you have a fast hard drive (unlike me), using a RAM Disk will save some wear and tear on it. I second the advice of getting a 7500 board. They're cheap and plentiful on eBay and will give you many more upgrade options, such as a daughtercard slot, eight DIMM slots, and on-board AV capability. I just upgraded my 7200/120 to a 7500/200 and apart from some memory performance and cache issues I need to iron out--due mainly it seems to the 604e processor card--it's a huge improvement.
