The video out capability of the 8500 included circuitry on both the IO sub assembly and the motherboard so, no you couldn't easily add composite video out. > >I know that Guru 2.9 says that the 7300 is rated at 45mhz and the 7500 is >rated at 50mhz - which to me is not that much of a difference. The 7500 since it only came with a 100MHz 601 daughter card ran at 50MHz. The 7300 came with 166, 180 or 200MHz daughter cards so it's operating bus speed would be 41.5 (or 47, depending on the CPU), 45 or 50 MHz. The motherboards are rated for a maximum bus speed of 50MHz but the actual operating speed is set by the daughter card. I would put the G3 in the 7500 and keep the original daughter board in the 7300. > >I have several 7200's laying around so finding compatible power supply and >box for the 7500 is not a problem. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting [EMAIL PROTECTED] "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
