Hi I am currently using a 7300 with a G3 upgrade card in it - I'm not exactly sure which one - but it runs at 288mhz according the the apple system profiler. I just got a 7500 mainboard with the rca jacks included.
What I was wonders was this... Would it make any difference in speed to move my G3 card to the 7500 so I could make use the the rca jacks? And could a rca video out jack be added to this piece? I know that Guru 2.9 says that the 7300 is rated at 45mhz and the 7500 is rated at 50mhz - which to me is not that much of a difference. But since the 7300 had a 604e to start with, is there any benefits to keeping everything on the 7300? I have several 7200's laying around so finding compatible power supply and box for the 7500 is not a problem. Thanx kim -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
