Question : Why is it that when I optimize with TechTool, then check the drive with either Norton, or Disk Warrior, the drive shows that it still needs to be optimized ? This happens no matter which application I start with. Another application always shows that the drive still needs to be optimized (even after just optimizing with another utility). The 3 different utilities for optimizing seem to do the job differently.
Also, TechTool Pro takes much (much) longer to optimize. Does this mean that it is doing a more thorough job optimizing ? Question : One of my partitions cannot be optimized by Disk Warrior, but TechTool Pro optimized with no problems. And Norton finds no problems with the partition in question.
