Question : Why is it that when I optimize with TechTool, then check the drive with
either Norton, or
Disk Warrior, the drive shows that it still needs to be optimized ? This happens no
matter which
application I start with. Another application always shows that the drive still needs
to be
optimized (even after just optimizing with another utility). The 3 different utilities
for
optimizing seem to do the job differently.

Also, TechTool Pro takes much (much) longer to optimize. Does this mean that it is
doing a more
thorough job optimizing ?

Question : One of my partitions cannot be optimized by Disk Warrior, but TechTool Pro
optimized with
no problems. And Norton finds no problems with the partition in question. By the way,
the partition
is not the start-up drive.
