I've had this problem for a while, but I just got around to asking about it. I'm on an 8600/G4, running 9.2.2, but when I first noticed the problem, I was running 9.1. Problem has stayed consistent despite the upgrade.
My file sharing will not turn on. When I start up, it starts "starting up", but it nevers gets so that it shows "file sharing on". It just stays set at "starting up" with the little blinking thing on the file sharing folder. I've trashed File Sharing prefs and the File Sharing CP Prefs folder, but that didn't change anything.
