Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I still have the file sharing problem. Here's what I've done so far: 1) Found my Appleshare PDS files, made them visible, and deleted them. No change. 2) Found my Servers folder in my system folder. Was told to delete whatever was in there, but there's nothing in there. No change.
I'm still starting at a File Sharing icon that's blinking and "starting up" ad infinitum. For a refresher, I'm on an 8600/G4 with 2 SCSI drives shared (well, not now, since the Appleshare PDS files are gone). I'm running 9.2.2 after a fresh upgrade, but it was doing this well before the upgrade when I was in 9.1. Thanks for the help so far.
