I'm not sure, I think not. What you probably have is SDRAM, and I believe that's what the beige G3's use?
As per everymac.com the 7500 uses "70 ns 168-pin DIMM" and that would be 5V dimm or EDO dimm, or some variant of that, and for sure not SDRAM -----Original Message----- From: PCI PowerMacs [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Damien Calloway Sent: Saturday, November 16, 2002 11:53 PM To: PCI PowerMacs Subject: Hey guys ! Thanks for all your help, info. Well, looks like you guys have spared my Mac from effigy.... :-) Seriously, though - I now have a plan of action for my Macs. And as it turns out, those PMac 7500/8500 are going for pretty cheap on eBay. So - I will likely do some system maintanance on the machine I've got, while getting another 7500/8500 soon. Now, here's my question - can either a 7500 or a 8500 take PC DIMMS ? I could not help but notice that they seem to have an obscene number of DIMM slots (6 or 8) and I have 5 128 DIMMS pulled from my post-departed PCs. Thanks for everything !
