You're probably right, but they're certainly not a commonplace, given the
cost of secondhand DIMMs these days. A quick websearch revealed that most
Pentium motherboards used a mix of 72pin EDO and SDRAM - which is pretty
weird if you ask me (would having two different speeds of RAM create all
sorts of weirdo timing problems on the 'board?)
