It could be a Netscape problem because in the past I have received duplicate
messages, sometimes in triplicates! I have verizon dsl and can access my
mail through their web mail. So what I did was go to their netmail site and
access my account and check my mail that way. I then deleted what I did not
want and that  seemed to have solved the problem.
