53Mhz was the highest reliable bus speed I obtained with my Kansas 9600, 
xlr8 ZIF carrier g4/450. Since it ran hot enough with the crappy 
heatsink fan supplied by xlr8 I switched it back to 50MHz. I've since 
replaced the heatsink fan (it died right after xlr8) but figure a few 
MHz isn't worth the extra heat. (With all six PCI slots filled it gets 
hot enough inside the case as-is.)

I remember reading somewhere at xlr8yourmac.com about someone pushing a 
9600 to 60MHz. Must have been the best logic board of the batch.
