If you'll  look at the bottom of the chart in the back of the XLR8 manual
it says "Verify CPU multiplier with product - 9.0x, 10.0x and 12.0x based
speeds not available on all CPUs." I found this to be true trying to use a
G3 450 at 10x. I was, however, able to run it stably with a 58Mhz bus speed
(464 Mhx). Obviously YMMV.
