Ok, so it's "pram" then - seems logical enough.

(I hadn't thought of the carriage - my vocabulary is
about as good ;) as my Mac skills, it seems)

  as I've been informed that the former is already
  in use by someone else, elsewhere - I have enough
  "mistaken identity" by various people that don't
  know me well, as it is. One would think that a
  weird enough name like that wouldn't be owned by
