Dead right. Another is route... ALWAYS pronounced "root". "Rout" is the process of chasing your enemies out in a panic, or cutting a groove in a piece of material eg wood. Another is schedule... the Germans pronounce sch as "sh" but in English we do not... (tell the English that... aluminium is another incorrect Englishism). Do you go to shool? Suffer from shitzophrenia (sorry!)? So why should you stick to your shedule? The few times I've heard PRAM spoken, it's always been pee-ram. But I still wasn't sure. I thought it sounded a bit silly, but not so compared to "pram" (baby-buggy). SD-RAM... heard this spoken "sd-ram", not "s-dram". As for the real name of PRAM, ask in a Windoze shop for a PRAM battery and they'll give you a blank look. -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
