I use this machine (6116CD) as my main Mac, and I really like it. I 
was using OS 7.6 but upgraded to 8.6... which is a bit less stable, 
unfortunately.

I have 2 x 32mb RAM SIMMs, but think that it should work with 64mb 
SIMMS (it does NOT take the DIMMs which fit the 7300+ series!). 
Apple's specifications were written before the larger sticks became 
available, but my 7500, for instance, is specified for 64mb DIMMs but 
they run fine on 128s.

I am quite pleased with my NewerTech MaxPowr 240mHz G3 upgrade, but 
could have done with a 400...
