The G4/450 will actually run cooler with less power draw than a 604e/200. I've
got no problems with the stock cooling running a G3/300 overclocked to 350, and
all PCI slots full. Internally I run a 7200 RPM SCSI 3 hard drive and CD drive
via a SCSI 3 card, my primary monitor via an ATI Rage Pro, secondary monitor via
the built in video, Inkjet printer via the printer port, built in ethernet to
the network and a USB card with numerous peripherals connected through a powered
hub. This is besides the OEM hard drive, floppy etc. I also run the external
SCSI to the max number of peripherals and have the mic and speaker ports tied to
their respective devices.
