I'm just getting started in burning CDs with Toast 3.5.5 on my PM 7200/75 OS 7.6.1 500Mb hard drive and almost 200 Mb memory. Obviously I'm short on HD/memory for stuffing a CD that holds what, a Gb?
Does toast have to transfer all the files to my HD to work, or can it transfer directly from a CD or Zip without using my memory? If I need a bigger HD can I just install a 1 or 2 Gb HD internally or externally and have toast use that? Would I have to install toast on the extra HD? Am I asking the wrong questions? I want to burn CDs mainly to preserve data files, but may also want to copy music CDs for mt wife to play on her car stereo.
