I use one for video conferencing and it is much clearer than using the PlainTalk
mic and powered external speakers.  (and not only much more comfortable than
wearing headphones, but looks better!) It operates with anything and is recognized
without any special software as an external mic and speakers by Macs. I've had
equally good results with it connected to everything from my old 840 AV to my G3
upgraded PCI Macs and even G3 upgraded PB 1400s. I've used it with OS 7.1 to 10.
